THE MAGIC DECADE 

My longtime friend, Milo Johnstone (RIP), wrote a book called The Magic Decade. It chronicled the music and artworks associated with the 10-year period beginning in the early 1960s. Milo was one-of-a-kind, skilled and industrious.  He restored antique automobiles, did creative art, rebuilt homes and gave the finger to the establishment. I can’t say I never met anyone who could match his ability to not only do so many things, but to do them all very, very well. These pictures show his friends at The Eastlake Zoo Tavern on October 18, 1994, gathered to celebrate the completion and publish release date of his incredible book.
